$63k Riverland Wine program now open

LOCAL wineries have been encouraged to apply for a new industry program set to boost the profile of the Riverland wine region.

Riverland Wine – in partnership with the South Australian Wine Association – has encouraged applications for a $63,000 program targeted at increasing the demand for, and sales of, Riverland wine.

A Riverland Wine spokesperson said the program – which involves media training,  workshops, and a scholarship to May’s ProWein fair in Dusseldorf, Germany – was aimed at “wineries and grape-growing businesses who are ambitious about growing their market outside of South Australia”.

Expressions of interest for the program are now open, with details to be finalised by Friday, April 8.
